Think Specialized
College was about exploring your interests. In grad school, you’ll take it to the next level. Don’t get sidetracked by rankings. The choice to attend a certain school should be based on specific criteria, such as:

  • The chance to study with a leading professor in your field
  • The availability of fellowships and assistantships
  • The balance among academics, work, and family
That’s not to say that a “high-ranked” school is a bad choice. However, grad school is about intensive study in your field — it’s not a popularity contest.

Finding Your Fit
If the rankings won’t reveal your perfect fit, what will? Check out the following for tips to help you start your search.
